Hello Carlton Community,
I feel incredibly honored to be part of the fourth grade team at Carlton Avenue Elementary School! I am excited for the journey ahead and anticipate a year of immense growth, learning, and much laughter. As we forge our path, I am grateful to walk alongside such a wonderful staff committed to empowering their students. I hope you are ready to take the first step together!
And now, for a little bit about me! I earned my teaching credential at Saint Mary’s College of California and received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Integrated Educational Studies with minors in Psychology and English at Chapman University. For my first three years of teaching, I taught in the San Ramon Unified School District where I had the pleasure of opening a STEAM school. This year marks my second year at Carlton Elementary and I am
thrilled to be back!
In addition to my education, I bring with me a love of traveling, hiking, reading, doing puzzles, and spending time with loved ones.
My mission as your student’s teacher is to create a positive classroom community where
students feel safe, valued, and heard. I seek to employ students to think creatively,
critically, and collaboratively, and to develop into compassionate, globally responsible
life-long learners.
I am looking forward to an exciting year in Room 7!
Warmly,
Tayler Isaacs
